About our Soil Scientists
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services requires 15 hours of soil courses including three hours of soil morphology and classification from an accredited college or university to be a registered Soil Evaluator. In addition to the minimum State requirements for a Soil Evaluator, all our soil scientists either have a Bachelors degree or Masters degree in soil science.
